We can provide contacts with bonding companies, private investors, and issuers of Direct Private Offerings to help a small business, ministry start-up or expand. We can also provide administrative services that allow you to focus on your business and client base while we supply your daily administrative operations needs. This is a very basic step-by step Method on how to start a business.  It is by no means comprehensive.  It does, however cover the most usual steps needed to start a small home-based business.

Register your business with your local municipality.  Its usually called a Business and Professional License.  You might be required to have a county and city license. This varies from state to state.

Be sure your "restrictive covenants" for your sub-division where your home is allows home-based business...this can come back to haunt you if you don't.

If your business will be housing persons count on $500 per person per year for general liability otherwise premium will be around $2,000/year on average.
